Titan Transfer Inc is seeking a Diesel Maintenance Technician/Shop Foreman to join our trucking fleet at our Tucson, AZ terminal. While this role focuses on diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues, our ideal candidate is also comfortable working as a technician who can diagnose and repair technology issues in newer trucks. In addition to making minor repairs, you will also be responsible for performing preventative maintenance on diesel engines, brakes, transmissions, and other systems. The ideal candidate will also be also capable of using basic computer skills.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair issues in Class 8 trucks
- Diagnose and repair issues with hydraulics, brakes, transmission, steering, and other systems
- Perform preventive maintenance
- Perform welding or fabrication tasks on trailers and other equipment as necessary
- Prepare work orders and order parts
- Maintain a safe and clean workplace

Diesel Mechanic Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED certificate (preferred)
- Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred)
- Diesel Technician/Mechanic degree a plus
- Experience with Class 8 truck maintenance
- Mechanical skills
- Basic computer skills
- Basic math skills
